I often talk to people that would like to write a story or a book, but they never do. Others have started or have actually finished writing a story, only to throw it in the closet to gather dust, and they forget about it. They are either stuck in the “think phase”, or they have thought and actually completed the “ink phase”, but they have never done anything about it.

After years of being stuck in both the think and ink phases, I finally decided to do something about it. I have published several books, and I am now in the selling phase, testing to find what works and what does not, and I have decided that I am more than happy to share this process with anyone who cares to listen. I hope that I can save you time and the many frustrations that I have been faced with.

    I am an indie author. I write children’s fictional chapter books for independent readers facing life’s many challenges.

    Writing is the creative part, the fun part, but it is only the beginning of an indie author’s journey towards success. I am still in the learning process, figuring out what works and scrapping what doesn’t.

    Some indie writers may want to hire others to help them with covers, formatting content, marketing, etc. I started out that way, but with many disappointing outcomes, I knew that I had to take control of my projects from start to finish. It certainly has been a challenge, but I do believe it will prove to be worthwhile.
